FAQs

Q? How much dust will be created during the restoration of my floor?
A.

We use diamond abrasives and water to restore natural stone surfaces. This means that no dust is created during the process.

Q? Do you charge an estimate fee?
A.

No

Q? I want to get the carpeting in my home professionally cleaned for the first time. I want to do it before I have company over for the holidays. How long will the cleaning take? And how long do I have to wait before the carpeting can be walked on again?
A.

A professional carpet cleaning should take an hour for every 400-500 square feet of carpeting. You should wait at least twenty-four (24) hours to walk on your carpeting after it’s cleaned.

Q? I just moved into a new home that was gutted and refinished with everything inside brand new—marble countertops, fluffy carpeting, customized tiling in the bathroom, and a bunch of other beautiful interior design enhancements. Long story short: How often should I clean my carpeting, tile and grout, and upholstery?
A.

Carpet manufacturers suggest cleanings every year to eighteen months. Some require that you have annual cleanings with receipts as proof in order to keep factory warranties in effect. Some high traffic carpeted areas (by your front door, perhaps) may need cleaning every six months.
Furniture and upholstery should be cleaned one per year.
Tile and grout should be cleaned once every two years.
